Town of Cutler Bay Elections

The Town Clerk serves as the Supervisor of Elections for the Town which includes being the qualifying officer for candidates for all Town offices. Election management includes providing qualifying documents to candidates and accepting campaign financial reports electronically.

The Town contracts with Miami-Dade County Elections Department to print ballots, provide voting equipment and poll workers and tally voting results for all Town elections. Elections for Federal, State and County offices are handled solely by Miami-Dade Elections Department.

GENERAL ELECTION INFORMATION

The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Check with the Miami-Dade County Elections Department or look at your Voter's Registration Card for your assigned precinct.

Results will commence posting at 7:15 pm Election Night.

 

Early Voting begins on Monday, October 24, 2022, and concludes Sunday, November 6, 2022.  Voting locations are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Click here for Early Voting sites.

*These candidates qualified unopposed and therefore will not appear on the ballot for the November 8, 2022 General Election.

SPECIAL MAIL BALLOT ELECTION INFORMATION

The Special Mail Ballot Election was held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

Pursuant to Town Resolution No. 21-88 the following bond referendum was submitted to the qualified electors of the Town for approval or rejection:

“Shall the Town issue general obligation bonds not exceeding $37 million in one or more series maturing not later than thirty years from their issuance dates, bearing interest not exceeding the maximum allowable by law, payable from ad valorem taxes levied by the Town, to develop on the Town’s 16 acre property located at Old Cutler Road and S.W. 212 Street:

  • Park;
  • Community Center; and
  • Municipal Buildings?”
