42nd JULY 4th CELEBRATION - Whispering Pines Park Saturday, July 4th from 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Whispering Pines Park located on Ridgeland Drive and 87th Ave. A parade of decorated floats and bicycles begins at 9 AM. Following the parade there will be hotdogs, hamburgers, cold drinks, hot popcorn and snowcones for sale and free watermelon. For children there will be a bounce house, water slide and a Humble Hearts Puppet Show. The U.S. air Force will have a flyover, weather permitting. The event is free and open to all.
