August 16th 2010-Council Meeting Date Change
Please note that the Council Meeting has been changed from August 18 to August 25. The meeting will still take place at the South Dade Regional Library at 7:00 p.m.
July 27th 2010-Notice of Stormwater and Roadway Resurfacing Project within Bel Aire Sub Basin Community
Construction will begin shortly for drainage and roadway improvements in the Bel Aire area. For more information on the affected areas, please see the flyer below.
Old Cutler Roadway Improvements Residents/Business owners who would like to discuss the Old Cutler Road Improvements project with the Project Engineer, can visit Town Hall each Wednesday starting June 2, 2010 and meet one-on-one with the Project Engineer. This service will continue throughout the Design Phase. If you have any questions, you may always contact the Cutler Bay Public Works Department at (305) 234-4262. The Town of Cutler Bay is pleased to announce the launch of our new and improved Online Resident Access Information and Request tracking system, GovQA. Our new system will allow citizens to easily search for answers to frequently asked questions enter requests and opinions online and track the progress of their request any time, any place, enabling our Town staff to offer improved customer service. This new and improved system will enhance our efforts to provide a better looking, more efficient community with a high level of citizen involvement and satisfaction. We are now officially in the wet season in South Florida when 70 percent of the year’s rain falls. In our region, flooding can happen when heavy rainfall occurs over a short period of time from a single, heavy storm, tropical system or hurricane. We provided a button you may find useful for your websites which links directly to the SFWMD website. The site includes timely information about how the South Florida Water Management operates during the rainy season and the preparations now in place for seasonal readiness. The website also contains information about what residents can do to prepare for upcoming storms and what to anticipate in the aftermath of heavy rains.
