Community Meeting for Proposed Brownfield Area Designation (Blue Heron Park) Pursuant to Florida’s Brownfields Redevelopment Act

Representatives for the Town of Cutler Bay will hold a community meeting on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until not later than 7:00 p.m., in the Town of Cutler Bay Council Chambers at 10720 Caribbean Blvd, Cutler Bay, FL 33189.  Remote participation is also available via Zoom using the information below this notice. This community meeting will be held for the purpose of affording interested parties the opportunity to provide comments and suggestions about the potential designation of land located at 21900 SW 97th Avenue, Cutler Bay, FL 33189, identified by folio number 36-6016-027-0010 and also known as Blue Heron Park, as a Brownfield Area. 

The designation is being made pursuant to Section 376.80, Florida Statutes, of Florida’s Brownfield Redevelopment Act, and will also involve two public hearings before the Town Council of the Town of Cutler Bay to be held on September 11, 2025, and September 25, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. For more information regarding the community meeting and/or the public hearings or to provide comments and suggestions regarding designation, development, or rehabilitation at any time before or after the community meeting and/or public hearings, please contact Brett C.
