Virtual Ugly Sweater Costume Contest Deadline!
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2020!
Contest Details:
We're inviting all Town residents to celebrate the holiday season by dressing up in your best Ugly Sweater and share your photos with us for you chance to win a $100 gift card—or $200 for the Group/Family Category! One grand prize winner for each category will be awarded. Costume categories are as follows:
- Family/Group
- Infants to 3 Years
- 4 to 7 Years
- 8 to 11 Years
- 12 to 15 Years
- 16 & Up
- Pets
How to Enter:
The Virtual Ugly Sweater Costume Contest is only for residents living within Cutler Bay Town Boundaries. You must complete this form and upload up to five images of you in your costume by Sunday, December 20 at 11:59 p.m.
How Winners Will be Selected
Our Town panel of judges will select the top three entries for each category. Photo submissions will be judged based on the following judging criteria, weighted equally:
- Costume quality (25%)
- Costume craftsmanship (25%)
- Originality (25%)
- Innovative use of materials (25%)
The photos for the top three in each category will then be uploaded to the Town's Facebook page for the public to vote on. The photo in each category that receives the most "likes" will be named the winner of the category.
To vote, click here to visit our Facebook page and "like" the photo of your favorite costume in the Virtual Ugly Sweater album. Voting will begin on Monday, December 21 and will end by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23. Votes will not be counted past the cut-off time.
Winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 23.
