About Hurricane Season and Resources
Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. Cutler Bay is a coastal south-Florida community that is subject to hurricane threats. It's important for Cutler Bay residents to inform and prepare themselves on how to mitigate risks and learn how to recover.

- Report downed power lines to FPL at 1-800-4OUTAGE (1-800-468-8243)
- Report downed trees blocking public roads or right-of-ways by emailing Alfredo Quintero, Public Works Director, at aquintero@cutlerbay-fl.gov
Should a storm threaten South Florida, the Miami-Dade County Office of Emergency Management will activate its County-wide emergency operations procedure. During activation, the County will give regular, up to the minute advisories to the media and all local municipalities, including our Town.
