The Town Clerk is one of the three Chartered positions in the Town. The Town Clerk is appointed by the Town Council and reports to the Town Council. The Town Clerk serves as secretary for the Town Council and of the Municipal Corporation.

Information
The responsibilities of the Town Clerk in the Town of Cutler Bay are as follows:

Gives notice of all Council meetings to its members and the public, and shall maintain an accurate record of all Council proceedings;

Maintains the seal of the Town and attest the Mayor’s or the Manager’s signature, as the case may be, on all documents;

Serves as the municipal Supervisor of Elections;

Administers the publication of the Town Code and Charter;
-
Maintains custody of the Town’s vital records including agreements, contracts, minutes, ordinances, proclamations, and resolutions;

Acts as the Supervisor of the Occupational License division;
-
Functions as the Information Technology Coordinator;
-
Financial Disclosure Coordinator for the Florida Department of State; and
-
Records Management Liaison with the Florida Department of State.
