Old Cutler Road Improvements Project
The Town of Cutler Bay, through a Joint Participation Agreement with Miami-Dade County's Public Works Department, has embarked upon the reconstruction of the town's historically designated Old Cutler Road, between Southwest 97 Avenue to Southwest 87 Avenue.  The project will include the following: new street lighting, stormwater drainage structures, native landscaping, bus benches/shelters, shared-use bike path, and roadway reconstruction/resurfacing throughout this corridor.  The total project cost is approximately $7.5 million.  The roadway construction project commenced in December 2011 and is scheduled to continue through the fall of 2013.

For additional project details, please click below on the provided "Fact Sheet".

Drivers may experience "TEMPORARY" lane closures on weekdays between the "non-peak" traffic hours of 10:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. in order for the town's contractor to install new stormwater drainage structures.

Town residents and/or business owners interested in obtaining detailed information regarding the town's Old Cutler Roadway Improvements project can visit town hall on the second Tuesday of each month commencing January 10, 2012 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to meet one-on-one with the town's project engineer.  For additional information, please contact the town's public works department at (305) 234-4262 and/or email your comments to oldcutlerroadimprovements @cutlerbay-fl.gov
