It's Census Day! Have You Been Counted?

April 1st is officially Census Day! Do you know what the current response rate for Cutler Bay is? As of 6 p.m. today, 40.5% of Town residents have responded. The results of the 2020 Census will inform decisions and proportionately allocate hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding to communities across the country based on the amount of people that get counted—that includes hospitals, fire departments, school lunch programs, and other critical programs and service. It will also determine how many seats in Congress each state gets.

Responding can be done online, by phone, or by mail and should take just a few minutes to do. You should have received your invitation in the mail already with instructions on how to participate. If you have not, the Census will be sending additional mailings soon. If you have any questions about the 2020 Census, contact the Census Regional Office at (470) 889-6800. Let's get counted, Cutler Bay!
