In Case You Missed Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava's Telephone Town Hall Meeting
On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava hosted a Telephone Town Hall Meeting to discuss traffic solutions in our community. Town Staff participated along with representatives from the Village of Palmetto Bay and Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW). One of the topics of discussion was the possible opening/construction of a bridge across the canal at Southwest 87 Avenue, north of 168 Street.

Community Conversation: 87th Avenue Bridge Proposal
On August 30, the DTPW traffic engineers presented their proposal to pursue a new bridge across the canal at Southwest 87th Avenue, north of 168th Street. Commissioner Levine Cava requested that the Department put their plans on hold to give the community an opportunity to learn more and provide input. Here are DTPW's documents:
